A.I.M.A.A PANTHERS

We believe that it is nearly impossible to teach children in a normal class with older children. We want to give them the best possible classes and education. We believe that the early years are the most important and if you get the right values taught to a child at this age you will set them up for life.

We develop a child's respect and confidence, learn them how to avoid strangers and basic self defence. We also learn them how to avoid dangerous situations and how to defeat a bully without fighting.

Parents of the children in our Little Panther classes tell us what great changes we have made to the life of their children.

Our classes are 45mins to 1 hour long and have specially trained Instructors and Assistants to teach children of this age group.

In order to thoroughly develop each skill and at the same time make their training fun and motivational, the Little Panther curriculum specifies one skill per class. The curriculum includes a variety of drills used to teach the skill. These drills are easy to follow and help the Little Panther develop each skill with significant movement throughout the ranks.

The little Panther curriculum involves 7 belt colours, starting from white belt through to white with red stripe. The belts are awarded as each Panther completes each skill and is ready to move onto the next. The little Panther curriculum specialises in the complete development of the following skills:

  1. FOCUS

  2. TEAM WORK

  3. CONTROL

  4. BALANCE

  5. MEMORY

  6. DISCIPLINE

  7. FITNESS

  8. COORDINATION

FOCUS This skill will help your child's aim, listening and reaction skill. They will excel faster in physical activities; become a better listener and more focused at school
TEAMWORK Essential for building character; which will help your child to make friends and become a better leader.
CONTROL Having control means making good decisions, Control builds confidence.
BALANCE Your child is striving to participate in activities that require balance, like riding a bicycle. Developing this skill at an early age will help them in many activities and aids good posture development.
MEMORY A child's brain needs exercise just as much as their body. Memory development is good exercise for your child's brain. Our exercise are constantly helping your child think and make good decisions.
DISCIPLINE Our programme uses the Little Panther drills to help create the vision that discipline is fun and rewarding. Your child will learn to take pride in doing the right thing.
FITNESS Its important in the age of computer games, for a child to understand the importance of being healthy and physically fit. If your child cannot burn off all that extra energy by exercising, how will they burn it off?
COORDINATION Your child will learn left from right. They will become less clumsy in their movements and will find an all round improvement in their performance in many activities.
GRADUATION After your child has completed the 8 skills and has obtained the skill stripe belts she or he will be ready for graduation to the next level. Students will will progress into the advanced children's programme and train personally with Master Kirkwood within Blantyre Sports Centre, Lesmahagow high School or Motherwell Ravenscraig school.
