A.I.M.A.A SCOTLAND WIN AT THE WKA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Master Kirkwood along with A.I.M.A.A Scotland students and Instructors attended this prestigious event in Wishaw on the 7th of February. Master Kirkwood flew in from Ireland that morning after attending the full contact fight night the before in Gorey, to compete in this World Qualifier event.  Some of the National Squad who train with Master Kirkwood attended the event and took an impressive 17 trophies, with 6 of these being Scottish Titles.  To read more on the WKA Scottish Open and see our list of winners CLICK HERE.

A.I.M.A.A PANTHERS TESTING RESULTS

A.I.M.A.A Scotland Panther Instructor, Mrs Cecilia Gough held her 1st A.I.M.A.A Panther testing for here schools on the 8th and 10th of February.

  A.I.M.A.A SCOTLAND TESTING RESULTS!

A.I.M.A.A Scotland held its first colour belt testing under Master John Kirkwood and Mr James Lawson.

Master Kirkwood would like to thank Mr David Graham and Mrs Cecilia Gough for sitting on the testing panel. Both Instructors enjoyed their experience on the panel, and both did an excellent job!  Also a huge well done to all those who tested over the weekend, and to the A.I.M.A.A Scotland Instructors who ensured that their students were prepared for these testings.  To view the latest results CLICK HERE...

  CHO'S TAEKWONDO EAST KILBRIDE

NOW OPEN & ENROLLING NEW STUDENTS

Master John Kirkwood 6th Degree, opened his new "East Kilbride Cho's Taekwondo School" within the new "Alistair McCoist Sports Complex".

BATTLE OF GOREY 2 FULL CONTACT NIGHT!

The Action International Martial Arts Association had a fantastic night at the "Battle of Gorey" full contact fight night. Our very own Mr John Kirkwood fought in his first ever full contact fight, and was part of the A.I.M.A.A team, which consisted of Hassan Sinanovic, Paul Healy, Monika Markowska, Paul Gallacher and Eric Nolan.

A.I.M.A.A IN FOCUS - MR JOHN KIRKWOOD - SCOTLAND

This month we profile our very own Mr John Kirkwood Jnr, of A.I.M.A.A Scotland. Mr Kirkwood has trained in the martial arts for 21 years now at his fathers side, Master John Kirkwood who is the Director of A.I.M.A.A Scotland.

As a predominant figure in A.I.M.A.A Scotland and within the martial art circuit, he is a figure to watch in competitions and currently holds over 250 titles to his name! Currently Mr Kirkwood runs his own Cho's Taekwondo School in Lesmahagow,  and spends most of his time with his family and training.

Mr Kirkwood kindly wrote a small profile on his beliefs and thoughts on his journey in Taekwondo, and what his aspirations are for the future! To read this small profile Click Here...

LOCHEND SCHOOL OF CHO'S TAEKWONDO

SCHOOL NOW OPEN FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS !

Mr Alex Walker, an outstanding and fully qualified Instructor opens the doors of his new school in Lochend Secondary School, Easterhouse at 7pm on the 25th February, 2010.

All New starts at the school will receive FREE lessons and a FREE Uniform and Badge on joining.

A.I.M.A.A IN FOCUS - MR PAUL HEALY AIMAA IRELAND

We have had the great privilege to speak to Mr Paul Healy of A.I.M.A.A Ireland. Mr Healy is one of the Senior students of Master Byrne and currently runs three A.I.M.A.A schools in Ireland as well as building up his nutrition and health business within the country. As a pillar within the A.I.M.A.A Community he has been given the greatest task if hosting the first A.I.M.A.A Full Contact World Championships! Mr Healy has trained in Taekwondo for many years and is an inspirational martial artist, with outstanding dedication and ability.
