GRANDMASTER CHO VISITS EUROPE

This historical trip to Europe has captured the hearts of A.I.M.A.A Instructors and students in Ireland, Scotland, Jersey and England.  During this trip both myself and my wife were very fortunate to spend lots of personal time with Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and Mrs Cho during their seven day trip. However, it also allowed me to spend time with my close friend Master John Darcy, who I regard as one of the true martial artists within the martial arts community.

This European trip has brought together many different styles of martial artists under one roof, in harmony, training and sweating together, in awe of one of the greatest martial artists in the world. Only through Grandmaster Cho has this been made possible, and we need to ensure that the legacy laid down for us, is continued within our young students.

During the last seven days I have met so many students, Instructors and parents who support A.I.M.A.A in all different ways. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support to the A.I.M.A.A Masters, Instructors and above all Grandmaster Cho. You have made this visit memorable in a way that cannot be expressed by words. Your gestures, love and support have not gone unrecognised by those around you, and I applauded each and every one of you for this.

A.I.M.A.A INTERNATIONAL EUROPEAN TESTING

Over 64 students undertook their testing on Saturday the 19th of September in Dublin under the watchful eyes of A.I.M.A.A President and Founder, Grandmaster Hee Il Cho. The testing panel also consisted of Master John Darcy, Master Peter Byrne, Master John Kirkwood and Mr Fitzgerald, who will test for his Master Degree in Washington D.C next year.

This testing was like no other seen in A.I.M.A.A Ireland history, and was a hard and long day for all those participating. Master Kirkwood watched as five of his students tested under Grandmaster Cho and the A.I.M.A.A Masters. Mr James Lawson was testing for 5th degree, whilst Mr Mark Russell, Mr David Graham and Mr Michael Maxwell tested for 2nd degree. Miss Lauren Mullaghton was testing for his 1st degree under Grandmaster Cho and the A.I.M.A.A Masters and did a great job on the day!

GRANDMASTER CHO TAKES IRELAND BY STORM !

A.I.M.A.A Ireland European Director Master John Darcy proudly hosted the Irish International Seminar for A.I.M.A.A President and Founder Grandmaster Hee Il Cho. The seminar was attended by over 600 students and over 400 spectators in the National Basketball arena in Dublin. Click here for report

GRANDMASTER CHO MAKES HISTORY IN SCOTLAND !

A.I.M.A.A Scotland Director Master John Kirkwood was very proud to be given the job of hosting AIMAA Scotland International seminar with AIMAA Founder and President Grandmaster Hee Il Cho, 9th degree.  The Scottish seminar was attended by 200 students and over 100 spectators in East Kilbride, Scotland.  Click here for report
