AIMAA CURRICULUM CLASSES

The A.I.M.A.A Curriculum is unique as it incorporates a full training system for the martial arts practitioner. A.I.M.A.A Taekwondo approaches instruction in a traditional and respectful manner.

Emphasis is placed on a three-part foundation which consists of physical, spiritual and intellectual aspects. The innovative training method provides and enjoyable and practical workout for all ages and genders!

 

At A.I.M.A.A Scotland our curriculum class will take you through all the different elements required for testing to your next colour grade. We will cover the following during your training:

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 10 - testing for Yellow

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 9/7 - testing for Orange

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 6 - testing for Green

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 5 - testing for Blue

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 4 - testing for Purple

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 4 - testing for Brown

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 3 - testing for High Brown

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 2 - testing for Red

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 2 - testing for High Red

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 1 - testing for Black recommended

  • A.I.M.A.A Line work for Grade 1 - testing for Black Decided

Once you reach this level you will join our "Master Black Belt class" for more in-depth and specialised training and teaching within the A.I.M.A.A Curriculum.

Within the curriculum you will also cover all patterns/forms from white to Black Belt, and beyond. All terminology, stances, blocks, punches, strikes, kicks and Defence moves! You will learn the meaning of the different forms/patterns as well as one-step sparring and self defence. Also incorporated into the exclusive curriculum is falling and breaking, which is part of the testing procedure within A.I.M.A.A.

Our curriculum class is taught on a weekly basis and is rotated between different nights during the week. We also hold additional curriculum training at the weekends and this is usually advertised within class and on our site.
