Each class at A.I.M.A.A Scotland is unique, no two classes are the same, and every training session takes you to a new level of fitness!  Having trained in Boxing, before taking up Tae Kwon Do, he has accumulated more than 37 years experience, that he now passes onto many within A.I.M.A.A Scotland and Europe.

Master Kirkwood holds professional qualifications for coaching and development of children and adults within sports, as well as having his martial arts qualifications. You will be taught personally by Master Kirkwood, as well as the most experienced Instructors that are fully qualified to teach all levels. All Instructors and Class room helpers are credential checked by Disclosure Scotland. Our Schools are also members of the Hamilton Sports Council, which offers children and adults within the Lanarkshire area, exceptional training and facilities.

Our school offers Specialised classes in self defence, body conditioning, plyometrics, grappling, point sparring, continuous sparring as well as demonstration martial arts and weapons. Master Kirkwood is at the forefront when it comes to competition training, his students have reached the highest level in competition, attaining World, European, National and British titles!
