A.I.M.A.A Scotland Regional Director John Kirkwood and
his students undertook Ben Lomond on Sunday the 8th of
July. The large group was accompanied by Instructor Mr
McLear and some of his students.
The group of over 30 undertook a
gruelling 3 hour climb up the 3,500 foot mountain
through sunshine, hailstones, wind and rain and
conquered all the elements to reach the top.
The full climb and decent took 6 hours
and all who participated had a ball. When the group
descended to the shores of Loch Lomond they had a big
barbeque and relaxed before heading home.
